MPSS™ rapidly identifies the DNA sequence of the molecules on each bead in a parallel process. In the context of gene expression profiling, Megaclone™ and MPSS™ together are used to essentially clone and sequence a portion of each mRNA expressed in a sample of cells or tissue. Description
This individual will work as part of a team supplying specific reagents to support the Lynx MPSS production sequencing group. Primary responsibilities include loading microbeads containing DNA into reaction vessels, recycling these vessels after enzymology is complete and entering and tracking sample information into the database.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a BS in the general sciences. Must be adept with mechanical processes that involve microtechnique. Strong computer and organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work independently in a team environment are essential.
