commercializing technology that will revolutionize medicine by providing the
first system for rapid, cost-effective comparison of whole genomes in
populations. Whole genome analysis using "Optical Mapping," OpGen's proprietary
single molecule DNA analysis technology, will enable practical pharmacogenomics,
forensic microbiology, and the development of novel molecular diagnostic
products. The system is used to obtain detailed genetic information from
any organism, with no requirement for prior sequence information, PCR,
synthesis, cloning or probes. Current applications include DNA sequence
validation and comparative genomics, particularly in the areas of cancer,
infectious disease, biodefense, and molecular diagnostics.

is seeking full-time, experienced laboratory technicians for our Sunday-Thursday
afternoon shift. Responsibilities include preparing samples, preparing reagents
and operating our image acquisition system. Requirements include a degree in
molecular biology, or equivalent, with 2+ years' experience working in a GLP
