Array BioPharma

Array BioPharma is creating the next generation of orally active drugs by integrating the latest advances in chemistry, biology and informatics. Our drug development pipeline is focused primarily in cancer and inflammatory disease and includes several promising small molecule drugs that regulate targets in therapeutically important disease pathways.

In addition, Array collaborates with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to design, create and optimize drug candidates across a broad range of therapeutic areas. Our mission is to be the most efficient inventor of high quality drug candidates in the pharmaceutical industry.

Products : Many tumors depend on growth factors, receptors and enzymes within biological pathways for proliferation, survival and differentiation. The growth factors interact with proteins in the cell membrane, including proteins called Type I receptor kinases, which transmit their growth signal into the cell through a cascade of enzymatic events. These receptors, including EGFR, ErbB-2, VEGF and PDGF, are found to be over-expressed, or over-activated, in numerous human tumors. Array’s programs focus on blocking multiple points along these pathways. Our first therapeutic, the MEK inhibitor ARRY-142886, has progressed into a clinical trial in cancer patients. Array has advanced two proprietary programs in preclinical development: EGFR/ErbB-2 (dual inhibitor program) and ErbB-2 (selective inhibitor) directed to blocking the effects of growth factors. Array has identified and is developing products against several additional cancer targets.
