Core business
Azign is a drug-profiling and drug discovery company, using proprietary
multi-target screening technologies to fulfil a market need for tools that can
reverse the rapidly rising trend of drug R&D costs in pre-clinical development.
ClusterScreen™
We have successfully developed an in vivo drug profiling screening tool, which
could revolutionize the future drug candidate selection process and dramatically
cut costs. The ClusterScreen™ tool provides every test compound with a unique
fingerprint describing its efficacy and side effects. This integrated approach
prioritizes which drug leads to continue, and which to drop very early in the
development process before "serious" money is invested.
The ClusterScreen™ drug-profiling model combines
advanced computational algorithms, artificial neuronal networks, differential
gene expression profiling, and in-vivo experiments. Already implemented within
major pharmaceutical companies, the initial application is to identify drugs for
CNS diseases.
Besides ClusterScreen™ drug-profiling, Azign has
successfully conducted its own in-house target discovery, and will further seek
collaboration opportunities with combinatorial chemistry companies or drug
companies in order to gain an ownership share of future drugs.By analyzing the
